WEDDINGS

  • 8 hour coverage is best for simpler weddings with smaller guest counts! (100 or less)

Here are a few example situations in which 8 hours of coverage would be good:

    • You don’t need any Getting Ready photos

    • You only want minimal Reception coverage or are having a very minimal Reception

    • You want minimal Bridal Party photos

Still not sure how many hours you need? Reach out & we can talk through it together!

  • If you’re hoping to get the full day, from beginning to end, go for around 10 hours! This is especially true for a Catholic wedding day! I’ve found that less than this might mean I’m missing out on the getting ready moments and/or the guests dancing at the reception!

With this package you’ll also get a second shooter and engagement shoot!

Here is a quick idea of a full day…

    1. Getting Ready

    2. Detail / Accessories

    3. First Looks

    4. Ceremony

    5. Formal Family Portraits

    6. Bridal Party

    7. Grand Entrance

    8. First Dances

    9. Cake Cutting

    10. Open Dance

  • This is for you if you don’t want to worry about fitting me into your schedule! I’ll come & go based on YOUR wedding day schedule, not based on my hours. These days do tend to run around 12 hours long.

If you have a Reception exit you definitely want coverage of, this is the way to do it!

Plus, with this package, you’ll get all the bells & whistles:

    • Second Shooter

    • Engagement Shoot

    • Custom Heirloom Wedding Album

Still not sure how many hours you need? Reach out & we can talk through it together!

  • Generally, these are the amounts of time I like to allot to photograph each part of a wedding day. Use these times to guesstimate how much wedding photography coverage you’ll be needing! Don’t forget to allot for travel times between each location!

Getting Ready Photos, Detail Shots + First Looks (Ladies): 1-1.5 hours

Getting Ready Photos (Guys): 15-30 min

    Catholic Ceremony Mass: 1.5 hours

    Formal Photos: 30-45 min

    Bridal Party Photos:

    • If shooting at 1 location: 1 hour (20-30 min with Bridal Party, 30-40 just Bride & Groom)

    • If shooting at 2 locations: 1.5 hours

Toasts (MOH & BM): 10-15 min

    First Dances: 20 min

    Open Dance: 10-20 min

If you're not surer how many hours you’ll need, reach out & I can help you to figure it out!

  • Yes!

You can add additional hours for $200 an hour.

Maximum hours I’d like to shoot for a wedding day is 11 hours!

  • I’ll send you a list of how much time to allot for each part of the day, then once you have a rough draft of your day made, we’ll go through it and make sure it all makes sense for photos!

  • These are the situations I think you should get a second shooter...

    1. You seriously want getting ready photos with both men and women AND they're happening at the same time AND they're getting ready far away from each other. (I usually go to women for an hour then to the guys for like 15 min.)

    2. There are a lot of restrictions during your ceremony with photography, like if I'm not allowed to move at all (this has only happened once to me) it is a good idea to have two shooters to get different angles. Even with this, I would say maybe only have a second shooter from getting ready, ceremony, and maybe through cocktail hour (see next point)

    3. You really want coverage of cocktail hour and it's happening at the same time as bridal party/bride and groom portraits. My second shooter would go to cocktail hour and I'd photograph the bridal party.

    4. You have a massive reception and want a lot of coverage of everyone there.

Second shooters will cost anywhere from $500 - $700, depending on their availability & pricing.

Please inquire for a more accurate estimate and to talk through any concerns you have for your day!

  • It’s going to be 1.5 hours, two outfits, and 1-2 locations! We’ll collaborate on what you’re envisioning so we get photos you’re excited about!

TRAVEL

  • I am located in Kansas City!

  • I am totally open to traveling for your wedding day!

I only ask for reimbursement for travel fees. My travel fees are generally based on the following:

If you’re within driving distance of KC:

    • Rental car for 3 days

    • Lodging for 2 nights (the night before & the night of your wedding)

    • Meals during my travel - $150 (this number is updated every October)

If you’re further than ~6 hours from KC, I’ll most likely look into flights as an option:

    • Roundtrip flight from KC to your city (+ checked bag fees)

    • Airport Parking Fees

    • Rental car for 3 days

    • Lodging for 2 nights

    • Meals during my travel - $150

MY PROCESS

  • I have been shooting weddings for the last five years! Since I graduated college in 2019, 2020 was my first full year of shooting. I had only been able to do summer weddings before that!

I continue to push myself, stay with the current styles but also aim for a timeless look. I love looking at my past work and seeing how much I’ve grown in the last six years!

I went full time photography in May of 2021 and I have been so excited to develop my business and my work!

  • Currently, I mainly do weddings & engagements, but I also really enjoy working with local businesses on product photography, as well as website & branding shoots.

You can see details for these types of sessions here!

  • For weddings, all I require for booking is a video chat to sign our contract and a 33% retainer deposit!

  • I break down my wedding photography process about halfway down the home page of my website!

  • Contracts & invoices for all shoots are sent through an online portal called Honeybook! Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card.

For weddings specifically, I ask for a 33% deposit to be paid at the time of contract signing, and the rest to be paid monthly with the last payment being made 2 weeks before your wedding day. The invoice that will be sent to you will be broken down into these payments & you may enroll in autopay for your ease.

See my pricing page for more details on pricing!

  • BUSY WEDDING SEASON (MAY-OCT):

During busy season, my editing process will take me 8-10 weeks! Depending on the number of photographs, the nature of the editing, and my current editing load, it may take longer.

Although I attempt to stay as close to this timeline as possible, 8-10 weeks is an estimate! At the 8 week mark, a more accurate timeline will be communicated to you if they are not done by this date.

    DURING OFF-SEASON (NOV-APR):

During off-season, my editing process will take me 5-7 weeks! Depending on the number of photographs, the nature of the editing, and my current editing load, it may take longer.

Although I attempt to stay as close to this timeline as possible, 5-7 weeks is an estimate! At the 5 week mark, a more accurate timeline will be communicated to you if they are not done by this date.

  • All of my shoots are backed up onto 2 memory cards. The absolute second I get home from a wedding I back up my memory cards to an external drive & I put the original memory cards into a fire safe box (paranoid, I know). I don’t clear my memory cards I shot on until your photos are edited and in your hands and approved! So they are backed up and secure.

That is my nightmare to lose your photos. Literally I have nightmares about this. So, yes, I back up those bad boys.

  • I will send you an email with a link to your gallery through a website called Pixieset! You’ll be able to download the photos to your computer or to a cloud of your choice.

This gallery link will be live for 6 months!

Also, I gift all my brides a beautiful USB with all their wedding photos backed up onto them!

  • Your gallery link will be live for 6 months! Once those 6 months are up, you will no longer have access to this link & it will be taken down. I recommend downloading your photos to your computer and/or to a cloud of your choice before these 6 months are up! I also send you a USB with all your photos for additional safe keeping!

    • Print some (you can get high quality prints through the gallery link I’ll send you!)

    • Make yourself an album (we recommend mpix & Artifact Uprising)

    • Download them onto a USB, external hard drive, or another physical backup.

    • Download them onto  cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, etc.)

  • PRINTING

These pics are 100% yours! I’m not going to nickel and dime you for prints.

There’s an awesome printing option through the final gallery I’ll send you (it’s through the company I personally print from), but you are free to print from wherever you want

    SHARING

Anyone can post your pics! You, your mom, your friends, etc. I just ask to be given a shoutout in the written caption, as well as tagged in the photo itself.
